A cryptocurrency wallet is a device, physical medium, program or a service which stores the public and/or private keys and can be used to track ownership, receive or spend cryptocurrencies. The cryptocurrency itself is not in the wallet. [wikipedia]
IOTA's Trinity wallet is quite possibly one of the most advanced and most regularly updated crypto currency wallets out on the market today. It makes it the perfect place to store IOTA you have bought/traded. If you have not yet, find out how to buy IOTA.

The IOTA Foundation have been extremely transparent with their security audits. In fact, they have been transparent about almost everything which is one of the reasons IOTA could be a great investment. They have had multiple audits done from multiple third party auditors before the public release.
The most recent and extensive security audit was completed by SIXGEN. They have tested it across all mobile and desktop platforms.
SEXGEN identified 4 main strengths of Trinity:
- Trinity utilizes modern cryptography (e.g. Argon2i, AES-GCM) which protects secrets from brute force attacks.
- Trinity is memory conscious, and clears secrets from memory when they are not needed to perform operations.
- Trinity implements user education when enabling convenience features that may expose users to additional risks.
- The Trinity development team considers security first when adding features to the wallet.

IOTA is fast compared to those of Bitcoin which can take several hours to confirm transactions.

Trinity allows you to have multiple accounts all accessed and secured by a password. With an easy to use interface you can easy send and receive IOTA with a few taps of a button.

Built right into Trinity is the ability to generate a seed for your wallet. When you create a new account in Trinity, it will give you two options:
Follow the instructions from the wallet itself. You will then be able to print that seed in the form of a paper wallet with a barcode or export a seed vault file.
The Trinity developers have made it very easy for you to customise the Theme, Language and Currency of what is shown in the Trinity Wallet. Due to the open source nature of the IF (IOTA Foundation) they asked their very large community for help with the translations and to check the spelling, grammar and context of the translations. This is good as it is well known that services like google translate have been known to fail with things like context.
